Xbox and Bethesda are gearing up for their summer conference showcasing new games! Even if E3 2022 will not take place this year, the next few months will once again be an opportunity for the video game industry to present many games. There are several events taking place during the summer period and the Xbox showcase is of course not to be missed.
The Xbox and Bethesda Conference is on June 12, 2022!
The Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase conference will take place on June 12th. Like every year we will have news of Xbox Game Studios games but also games from third parties. New games for Xbox Game Pass are also announced from time to time.
According to the image that accompanies the conference announcement, it’s easy to imagine that a certain Starfield will be present at the event. Bethesda’s new game set in outer space should be the star of the event.
The Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase will provide a lot of information about the games that will soon be released in the Xbox ecosystem, as well as the games that will soon be added to the Game Pass catalog on console and PC.
Keep in mind that Activision Blizzard won’t be present alongside Microsoft and Bethesda at the moment as the acquisition is ongoing. This should be done by June 2023.

What exclusive games will be featured at the Xbox & Bethesda Conference?
Like every year, the Xbox teams have been preparing for the event for many months and we can once again expect an avalanche of announced and presented games. If Starfield will certainly be entitled to a great gameplay presentation, Xbox has already announced many games and for which we are waiting for news. Here are some from the Xbox Game Studios games list.
- Perfectly dark
- Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2
- Project Mara
- The Outer Worlds 2
- Forza Motorsport 8
- state of decay 3
- Always wild
- red autumn
- The Elder Scrolls VI
- Indiana Jones
- Wolfenstein III
With a timing of 90 minutes, Xbox will not have time to present all announced games and only those that will appear in the medium term will offer gameplay. Starfield will be there, but we also envision Redfall and Hellblade 2. For the rest it is still difficult to predict, but it is not excluded that the next Forza Motorsport will also show itself, since the first test sessions with a selection of players have already taken place.
Games that have a high chance of being featured at the Xbox Conference
What surprises can we expect from the Xbox & Bethesda Showcase?
As every year, the rumors will accelerate as we approach the date of the event, which is set for Sunday 12th June 2022. Some will certainly be confirmed, but surprises are likely to be on the way like every year.
As usual, Microsoft may devote part of its conference to announcing new independent games, including some nuggets that are often very visually appealing. Between the various “world premieres”, Microsoft will also be careful to offer a varied catalog of third-party games to complete its offer. We’re thinking in particular of A Plague Tale: Requiem, which has a partnership with Xbox as the game will be available once it launches on Xbox Game Pass in 2022.
The star of the conference will surely be Microsoft’s flagship service. With PlayStation gaining ground in the niche, Xbox Game Pass will have to redouble its efforts to continue to win over more and more users. Also, the acquisition of studios, including Activision Blizzard, aims to publish more and more big games on the service.
It’s also quite unlikely that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II will be at the Xbox conference this year, or that any Activision Blizzard games debauchery is planned. The acquisition still has to be validated by the authorities and Sony still has a partnership with Activision for the franchise. You’ll surely have to turn to the PlayStation Conference to catch the next Call of Duty’s usual lengthy gameplay sequence. Either way, Microsoft already has enough big games to brag about its studios and Bethesdas.
