Microsoft CEO Confident Activision Blizzard Deal Will Go Through Says PlayStation Is Bigger Than Xbox

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella is confident the proposed $68.7 billion acquisition of Activision Blizzard will get regulatory approval. Speaking to Bloomberg Nadella said it’s understandable that an acquisition of this magnitude — Microsoft’s largest ever and one of the largest in tech history — would be “scrutinized.” That being said, Nadella said Microsoft is “very, very confident that we’re going to get out there.”

The manager went on to point out that Microsoft isn’t the biggest player in gaming – he feels Microsoft is #4 or #5 in the space, with Sony being first. “So when it comes to competition, let’s have competition,” Nadella said.
