Kepler Cheuvreux introduces its new managers

Arnaud Girod has been appointed Head of Economics & Cross-Asset Strategy. Natalia Bobo has been appointed Co-Head of Institutional Research and Marco Baccaglio has been appointed Co-Head of Institutional Research & Head of Primary Research.

Kepler Cheuvreux is pleased to announce the appointment of Arnaud Girod as Head of Economics & Cross-Asset Strategy, replacing Christopher Potts. After eight years as Co-Head of Institutional Research, Arnaud returns to his first passion: the market. He is supported by a team of five senior members: Philippe Ferreira, appointed Deputy Head of Economics & Cross-Asset Strategy, who recently joined Kepler Cheuvreux after years of cross-asset strategy experience at Société Générale CIB, Lyxor AM and CIC and Martin Guri (Head of Nordic Strategy), Clément Genès (Senior Economist), Joakim Tabet (Strategist) and Edouard Garrana (voted #1 in the Technical Analysis category by the Institutional Investor Survey).

Head of Economics & Cross-Asset Strategy – Arnaud Girod

Arnaud (French-Italian national) was co-director of institutional research at Kepler Cheuvreux for eight years, along with Jose Hernandez and Mathieu Labille. During that time, he helped grow the company’s equity ratio from around 400 to 1,000 shares and passionately promoted the values ​​of independence and collaboration. He developed Das Research, the company’s quality standard, in-depth research models and the video platform KC Discovery. He also led Kepler Cheuvreux’s ESG integration project. Since 2013, Arnaud has also been the author of a top-down/bottom-up quarterly hybrid report on building European portfolios with high conviction. He joined Kepler Cheuvreux in 2008 as Equity Salesman, selling European equities to UK investors. He started his career at BNP Paribas in London in 2001 after earning a Master’s degree in Financial Markets from Paris Dauphine University.

Deputy Head of Economics & Cross-Asset Strategy – Philippe Ferreira

Philippe has extensive experience having worked as an economist and cross-asset strategist for the past 20 years. He spent more than 15 years at Société Générale in various positions, both in sell-side and buy-side research. He started his career as an economist in international organizations in the early 2000s.Philippe joined Kepler Cheuvreux in June 2022 as Deputy Head of Economics and Cross-Asset Strategy. He is a graduate of Panthéon-Sorbonne University and holds a master’s degree in international and quantitative economics.

Co-Head of Institutional Research – Natalia Bobo

Natalia has been a sell-side analyst for over 25 years, covering a range of industries at various brokerage firms – including 14 years at Kepler Cheuvreux where she focused on healthcare, retail, computing, media and energy. She joined TREA Asset Management in 2017 as Head of Equity Research and member of the ESG team. She returns to Kepler Cheuvreux in 2021 to become part of the content management team as Deputy Head of Institutional Research, drawing on her extensive research expertise on both the sell- and buy-side. Natalia graduated in Business Administration from CUNEF in Madrid.

Co-Head of Institutional Research & Head of Primary Research – Marco Baccaglio

Marco joined Kepler Cheuvreux in November 1993, first as a trader (1993-1996), then as an equity analyst in the industrial and media sectors (1996-1998) and assistant research manager for the telecoms sector, before being appointed European coordinator for the telecoms sector in the year 2002. From 2004 to 2013 he was Head of Italian Equity Research and since 2021 Head of Primary Research. Marco graduated in Economics (specializing in Financial Markets) from Bocconi University in Milan, Italy. He holds the CFA.
